I took French 1 this year (tenth grade) and am taking french 2 next year. Would it help my chances of being accepted into UF if i took French 3 senior year?

What do you plan on majoring in? The reason why is that if you take more than 2 years of a language you automatically have to take the higher level class in that language or switch to a new language. If you are only taking french to get the credit, I suggest to only do two years. If you want to major in it, then you should continue on. This also only applies if your going to be in the college of liberal arts and science. They are the only ones that have a language requirement.

Okay good because I'm only taking French because I have to.

I am an incoming freshman to UF. I plan to major in accounting and would also like to minor in Russian because I am already somewhat proficient in it (I can speak enough to get by but can't write very well). Does anyone have any information about the Russian language courses at UF?
