<p>On the online version of the Common App, when they ask for language proficiency is there a way to write more than three (the allotted spaces)? Also can you only write languages other than English to save a space? Finally, does speaking a language that you've taught yourself at a good conversational level count?</p>
<p>Do so in the Additional Info section. Be truthful, say that you can only speak the language… you wouldn’t want to get caught on that lol</p>

<p>And I mean the only way they could “catch” you is if you can’t speak a word, so I doubt it would be a problem if I can respond decently if my interviewer decides to talk to me in said language.</p>
