My S, an 11th grader, is intersted in architecture and German. I know Northeastern has an architecture major but I don't know if they offer German as a minor or even any courses-- the website only describes Spanish for languages. Does anyone know if they offer courses in German or other languages besides Spanish?

I've heard rumors that NU doesn't offer majors in languages, but I could be completely wrong.

They do offers courses in German, as well Arabic, Chinese, Greek, French, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Swahilli. Also, there is NUCALLS, a language club on campus, which is pretty good. They are conversational and casual "classes" run by students, and they're fairly popular for students looking to practice language for fun, and on their own time.

NU offers a spanish major and a french and a spanish minor. I presume that means there are other minors for languages, but I know that spanish is the only major.
