Languages colleges like to see on applications

What colleges will be impressed with is a dedication to taking a language and mastering it. If you have done so with one and want to start another, and have the opportunity to take a more rare one that's great.

However, I'm not sure how beneficial it will be for college admittance. It will be fantastic for a future career, if you're considering the defense department or something. So take a language that interests you. Many of those are difficult language, my mother started taking Arabic and you can't even use a dictionary until like your 3rd year taking it, but it's becoming more and more useful, so if you are interested in a career involving it, then go for it.
