How do you think colleges would feel if I take two languages for all 4 years of high school? I plan on getting straight A's and taking the AP classes and AP tests. Right now I'm in French II and Latin II as a sophomore.

One more thing. Would it be okay to take one year off from Latin in order to take an AP Art History Course? Then I would take AP Latin my senior year.

Hey, a fellow French/Latin student! Hiya.
Colleges-- especially the Ivies?-- generally value languages, so I think that taking two for four years would be at least somewhat impressive (that's what I'm hoping, anyway!).
The real factor in taking French and Latin should be whether you enjoy them. I bet you do (they're very enjoyable languages!), but if you're just doing it for colleges, you obviously will have a harder time in the classes.
Finally, I think taking a year off from Latin should be fine. Just make sure not to forget your first two years of it before going into the AP level.
Vale!

It has come to my understanding that colleges love languages. I finished 3 language tracks at my high school, and colleges apparently loved it! (But keep in mind that correlation does not imply causation.) I took ASL in 9th and 10th, Japanese in 11th, and then both senior year, so your Latin question shouldn't be an issue.

Knowledge of Latin or Greek is really helpful for the sciences, actually. It's easier to memorize terms when you know what they mean. Also, chicks dig the Horatian odes.
