<p>Anybody have any experience in the departments? Specifically German, Russian, and Japanese? Does Irvine offer Arabic or Hebrew (because if they do I sure as heck can't find them)? I don't plan on studying all those, though one of my goals is to become quadriligual, but those are the languages that I have some interest in for one reason or another.</p>

<p>I only have experience with Spanish, and I think I mentioned this before, Hebrew and Arabic are being offered through the Spanish department starting next fall but it won't be offered as a major yet. I think the Spanish is good although I'm only on my second class here so I don't know a whole lot about it. My roommate is a Japanese major and I think he likes it.</p>

Nothing personal, I just only know you as "yackityak", the guy who I'm 99% sure knows what he's talking about. It's the one percent that keeps lurking around. Again, nothing personal, just like to have 100% assurance whenever possible.</p>
