I was wondering if Dartmouth has some sort of program where students can take languages not offered at Dartmouth. I know alot of other colleges have ways of arranging this. Also, does anyone know where I can find a list of what languages are actually offered at Dartmouth. I looked through their ORC, and it seems like only the major ones (Spanish, French, Chinese...) are.

I don't know if students can take languages not offered at Dartmouth, but here is a list I came up with of languages that are offered:

Arabic
Chinese
Japanese
French
German
Portuguese
Spanish
Italian

I believe the languages taught are:

Spanish
Portuguese
French
Italian
German
Chinese
Japanese
Arabic
Greek
Latin
Hebrew
Russian

I'm not sure if there are any specific programs for language study outside of those offered, but you could presumably take others if you took advantage of the Twelve College exchange programs:

Amherst
Bowdoin
Connecticut College
Mount Holyoke
Smith
Trinity
Wellesley
Wesleyan
Wheaton
Williams
Vassar
