Languages

I have a major passion for languages. I'm fluent at the moment in French, Spanish, and Italian. I want to learn Greek and Latin, plus some really unique language, I'm not sure what yet. I'm going into tenth grade. Any good ECs that will show this? I'm looking into a scholarship summer abroad program, with college courses involved as well as community service and staying with a family, but what else can I do?

Look into government translating. If you are as fluent as you say you are, you might have a chance in getting a summer job translating for the government or local businesses. They may make you take a language level test that proofs your fluency unless you have a documentation that proofs this already. Something else that you can look into doing is starting a language club at your school. A club where students can come in and learn about other languages along with the chance of learning another language. Talk to your language teachers at your school, they might be abe to help you.

Alright sounds good! Do colleges find this type of thing as a significant EC?
