<p>Don't want to start a debate or anything, but I really need to know if having a macbook pro is a bad idea if you're in engineering. I saw some videos online of how having a macbook can be very beneficial. I'm just concerned that some of the software might not work on the macbook pro.</p>

<p>yeah, i've been to that website. the only thing i'm concerned about is whether or not some of the engineering software will work on a macbook. also, the website doesn't really mention anything on apple. </p>
<p>I really want to get a macbook. I just don't want to make the mistake of getting it and learning that some programs that are necessary for engineering don't work on the macbook.</p>
