I really want a Mac but I am afraid of software conflicts with Macs since some programs run on only PC's and I don't really want to convert my Mac into a Windows computer. If I did get a PC what brand would I get? I was thinking of Dell XPS or HP Envy Series.

Come on man, we dont need more ■■■■■ threads/pc/mac fights.

But from what I can tell, most Macs around here work just fine with any potential software you might need to install/use - some professors use macs too.

Personally, I would (did) get an Hp dv (something), which was about 1000$ at the time (but we got it from fry’s with other discounts) so I’m sure that now its cheaper (7-800). I’ve had no problems with it, and it runs games relatively smoothly if you’re into that, although I dont have time to play, and I’m assuming you wont either.

get a HP Dv6t and but it from hp. c o m

right now there’s a 35% off coupon!!!

try it

p.s. macs are overexpensive p.o.s.
