<p>hi i brought a laptop yesterday and its a 17 inch...is this too big for a laptop size...should i stick to the 15.4? please help!!</p>

<p>I kinda prefer the 15.4" screens, but whatever floats your boat really... 17" laptops aren't really too big, as long as the weight doesn't get annoying... if you can keep it under 6 or 7 lbs you'll probably be glad down the road. </p>
<p>If you've already bought it and you can't return it then hey, don't worry about it. If you can, you might (depending on your vender's return policy) just try carrying it for a day or two sealed in it's shrink-wrap...</p>
<p>...just as long as you don't buy one of those 20" dell behemoths that are three inches thick, just for taking notes in college, or anything....</p>

<p>the laptop specs on this 17 inch one is good...its only 2 inches bigger than the 15.4 so i think i might keep it. its 7.3 pounds, tryed it in my backpack its just like carrying an AP book</p>
<p>It all depends on the person - I have a 17" HP Pavilion and it's great for me, but a lot of my friends think it's way too big and heavy. So if you're ok with a 17" laptop, there's no reason not to keep it.</p>
