<p>A laptop definitely. It’s just more capable and supports eLearning better.</p>
<p>It depends on how much money you’re willing to spend. A laptop is great, but personally I needed something cheaper and lighter. An iPad is just as good. If you just need to use a computer to take notes just get a keypad for an iPad. Its a whole lot cheaper than buying a laptop.</p>
<p>A laptop (or a desktop) is an absolute necessity. Although an iPad is a very nice companion is just can’t do everything that a college student would need it to. I’m personally going to have my desktop, iPad, and possibly a laptop, but I’m a techy and can’t be away from my computer for too long (such as going home over the weekend) :P</p>
