<p>For students at MSU - do people actually ever take their laptops to class? Do you think the portability of a laptop really outweighs the better value and durability of a desktop? Thanks!</p>
<p>A few people take them to class but it's really unnecessary and distracting for them for the most part. However, I would still recommend a laptop to save desk space, and to have the capability to work off it in the study lounge if roommates are partying or whatever.</p>
