<p>Do people actually bring laptops to class, for typing notes? Is it common or will you look strange because you are the only one?</p>
<p>Also, how convenient is having a laptop in college?</p>

<p>Wow I think this has been answered only about 100 times.</p>
<p>It's not uncommon...out of all the classes I have attended there are several people in the room who have laptops for note taking..however most people just use the traditional pen and paper method...no ones gonna stare at you, especially if you are in a huge lecture hall</p>

<p>Tripperian has a point though, if no one is willing to expend a little effort to search through the archives to find answers to common questions then the questions that actually need an answer won't get the attention they deserve.</p>
