Does anyone know which schools will be auditioning in Las Vegas? We received an email response from one college stating the auditions were only open to Las Vegas and Nevada residents. That seems strange..Also, we emailed approx 5 colleges with only one stating they would be there. I was informed that each school participating needs to commit to three cities. It seems unusual that with 5 inquiries only one college is going to Vegas. Another response we had stated they didn't go because the auditions were not private..Is there a site that lists the city and the schools that will be attending? The only one I find is for the colleges that will be in Chicago..The other cities seem to be a well guarded secret..

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a site with a list of the schools attending each city. It’s up to the student to make their audition arrangements with each school individually so each school on your student’s list should be able to tell you which of the Unified locations they’ll be attending. My guess is that, if that three city commitment is true (I haven’t heard that), then it’s probably more likely that they’d choose to attend NY, Chicago and L.A., simply because Las Vegas is only one day and the other cities are either two or three. The schools on your list should be driving the audition scheduling, not what schools happen to be attending a particular city, in my opinion. :)

There is another “unified” type of college audition held in Las Vegas. It is the Las Vegas National Performing Arts Auditions - but looks like it was already held last month. Maybe that is the one that is open only to residents? And I think that, too, might be the one that is not private - sounds like you audition for many colleges at the same time. Here is that link: [Las Vegas National Performing Arts Auditions - Clark County School District](http://www.ccsd.net/lvnpaa/)

But, you’re right, there isn’t a list of which schools will be at which auditions so I guess you need to check with each program. I hope enough of them go to make it worth the trip to Las Vegas.
