Hi everyone,
I am about to get my Longhorn All Sports Package and 2009 Football Season Ticket. But I don't anybody at UT yet. So if i meet some people during the school year can i still go back and form a group? Or do I have to sit in my assigned seat?

You can’t officially change your seat but you will find that at almost every game you will be able to move within the student section, shifting seats so you can sit with people you want to sit with. Do not let this worry you. :D

ooh actually I called them yesterday and they said tickets are still available. However you have to buy it from Texas Box Office since regisitration is closed now(that’s why you can’t get to the optional fees section). But you have to register first and you need your customer # and customer pin in order to register. And you get your customer # and pin from an e-mail they sent 2-3 month ago.

Yeah I was wandering about that as well…
I know for season tickets you just print the tickets out if you chose “Print at home” method. But I don’t know how LASP works.

For most LASP events they scan your ID to see if you have LASP.

For basketball, if you don’t buy the stampede pass, it’s first come and first serve.

For football, except for really big games, it’s first come and first serve, with you needing to come the Monday before. For the big games they will set a draw time and will draw a number out of a hat and kids within a certain range get tickets.

With LASP only tickets, you can turn in up to 6 LASP IDs at a time and get tickets seated together, but you aren’t guaranteed the same group at every game unless you bring those 6 IDs up every week and there is space available.

You click “create a group” at the texasboxoffice student ticket page. Just an FYI, it’s well after the priority deadline, so you aren’t guaranteed a group or even tickets at this point.

Normally that’d be true, but if you didn’t get it by the priority deadline then you’re what they call in the business SOL…by this time its all up to chance…good luck!

ooh that sucks, i didn’t even know that. So I could be paying extra $65 for nothing then. Because I could have just bought the LASP for $70 and I could just do the draw thing, right?

ooh well…I should really stop putting things off until the last minute. I don’t know how I am going to survive at UT…:(

Well you can buy the LASP and cause i think you need it for basketball or if you wanna get any tickets that may be leftover, but you won’t be getting season tickets or OU tickets…

No, if you don’t get season seats they will refund the $65. Otherwise that would be called “theft.”

And if you buy the LASP and season tickets, it’s too late to get OU tickets up front, but season ticket holders are eligible for the LASP draw for OU.
