<p>This time I want to focus solely on University of Pittsburgh. My first choice school.</p>

<p>The thing is that, Im applying quite late to Pitt. Even their website says apply early, even the summer before senior year and I have just finished my app on Christmas Eve.. I'll send rec and transcript once I get back to school on Jan 3rd. But still kind of late, so that is my concern.</p>

<p>The reason for that is because my parents told me I'd be able to attend private schools with full tuition, but now they changed their mind and they won't let me go to a private unless I get big money.. so I need more options at public schools. But anyways.</p>

<p>Please read and tell me what you think.</p>

<p>Here are my stats.</p>

<p>GPA 3.68 W
SAT 1850. 600R 650M 600W
SAT Bio 600 USH 620
National Honors Society and National Spanish Honors Society</p>

<p>All Honors (except for chem) and 5 APs</p>

<p>-I started a club
-an officer in another club
-managed the swimming team
-member of several other clubs
-volunteered at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center
-played baseball.</p>

<p>I got my recommendation from supposedly the best recommender from my school.</p>

<p>My essay is pretty formidable, since I got into 6 schools so far and got rejected to none.</p>

<p>Soo.. what do you think? Will I get into Pitt?</p>

<p>Yes. From what I have researched and from what I have heard, Pitt is a great school, but not TOO difficult to get into. You have it by a long shot</p>

<p>@Bdangle, definitely you’re in at Wisconsin, maybe if they have an honors program I think you have a shot there too. You fit the bill for UNC Chapel Hill too. You seem pretty set.</p>

<p>You have a good chance to get into Pitt but no shot at the honors college unless your SAT scores go much higher. I see you’re from MD (so is my son who just got accepted) and they like OOS. Good luck!</p>
