of EDs from '08: 5

yeah frankly i would accept you

rec from penn professor, good gpa and sats, good schedule, and nice ecs

SAT Cr/W and class rank are a little low. ACT only confirms it - I wouldn't send the ACT in at all. If you are Phila resident (not suburbs) that should help a little. I'd lean toward accept but if the others from your school have better scores than you they might throw the low man overboard.

I got a 35 on my ACT in English, so I sent it to give them a better indication of my reading/writing abilities. I took it twice and my superscore results in a 33, I wish they would look at that.

I live in a Philadelphia suburb, but lived in the city for most of my life. I mentioned so in my essay.

i can't take any more dull chances threads.

And of course the appropriate place to voice your displeasure over another "dull" chance thread (thanks, by the way) is actually in the thread.

that you live in the 'burbs now is what matters - Penn has a quota of philly residents they need to admit each year, so having lived in the city most of your life does you no good

bump? anyone?
