last chance to take or not to take...help!!

i very much need advice at the moment! here's my problem:

I took my 1st SAT in march. I was okay with my scores, which were a little lower than I wanted (720 CR, 630 W, 590 M)

So I signed up for the December SAT. I've taken a few practice tests. My projected math score (the only one I really want to fix) is basically the same as what I got last time, like one range was 550-630. one was slightly lower.

Obviously I do not want to do worse but I've heard colleges just look at the highest score. Should I just skip tomorrow or take a shot at it? Money is not an issue.

thanks!!

I say go for it

Take a shot at it! In my experience, Collegeboard's silly "projected score ranges" don't mean squat.

Definitely go for it, the projected scores are useless. I went from a 510 in Math to a 650 in Math from my June SAT to my October SAT and from a 1690 to an 1860. I'm taking it tomorrow aiming for a 2000, but will probably end up with a score somewhere in the 1900's. But yeah, go for it!

wow cool!!

thanks for the feedback. i had a bad feeling about this before cuz my parents seem to think i'm screwed if i do worse, but what do they know?
