im very passionate about my activity in my church...i help out kids when they need someone to go to, and i organize most of the events that take place there. its a community that i've been part of and have created...it may not look impressive but colleges say do whats importatnt to you so thats what is

In, as long as you present yourself well. Your stats and ECs are impressive alone (and would make you very good competition), but your minority status puts you over the top.

eyo?1?!4?!/$1

im dissapointed in the chicago alum...although it is sunday night and your all probably dying before finals and ****.

i'm not sure about your chances, but i'd love to see you get in seeing as how we have similar stats.

I would say really good chance at Uchicago. But minority status + stats (if I assume that you wrote a good essay as well) would get you in, no doubt. You know, I always wondered which UC does not offer Engineering... I think they need to get with the program.

But it doesn't really matter; its natural science programs are top tiers and churn out more good Electrical Engineers than in other schools.

I think they're adding some grad chemical engineering or something to that effect. It was the headline of the Chronicle last year- although it's graduate level engineering so you may have to wait a bit.

How hard up are they for minorities with great stats?

thanks i think?
