How is a 4.0 UW GPA equivalent to a rank of 24/519? Especially with AP and Honors classes being taken? That's confusing me.

Yes, a 4.0 UW, 4.86 W coming out to be ranked 24? The no.1 at our school has 4.0 UW, 4.79 because of gen ed requirements. . . Seems a little odd to me, that's all.

its hard to explain but consider it a 4.16/4.33 scale

in at all except 50/50 at Cornell and 30% at Duke&Tufts

what about columbia?

What's the logic to his chances being slimmer at Duke and Tufts than Columbia?

Anyway, I'd say in at all, including Duke and excluding Cornell and Columbia, which I think you still have a shot at though, provided you raise your SATs.

You think Duke is easier for me than Cornell?

I thought the other way.
And that SAT thing is old and I did raise them so idk...what you see is what you get.

thanks

I have friends with similar stats who faired okay with Duke, but had problems when it came to Cornell. I think both are a stretch, but I think Duke would be a bit more attainable. Still, I'm no professional. It's all just my opinion.

ahh frustrating bump

But, get this. I just got a call from a Duke alum who is going to interview me this week. Funny thing is I live in PA and she lives right around the corner from me. She apparently love kids from my high school and is all about doing everything she can to help me get in.

Do interviews really count?

Anyone else?

Please
