I want to apply as early as possible for Mich Engineering. However, I still need to take 3 SATIIs and I'm hoping to retake my SATI. The test days left are May, June, Oct, and Nov.

I'm busy the May test date. I'm planning on taking Math2c, Bio, and 1 other June. A retake of SATI in Oct... and self-study Phys in Nov.

Should I wait until Oct/Nov to apply? Or just apply with the scores I'll have by September?

**Oh yeah, and I'm planning on taking the ACT also, but I'm not sure if that'll make up for not having a chem/phys SATII...

Question
Will my future SAT I/ACT results be considered if my application was submitted before the results are made available?

Answer
On the hard copy (.pdf) application, item 37 is where a student indicates all tests taken and also additional tests which will be taken in the future. If a student applies before receipt of the new test score and is admissable, they will be admitted. If, however, a final admissions decision cannot be made based on the information our office has received, a decision will be delayed until the new test score is received provided that it is received before our application deadline date. The application will then be considered with the new test score. Please note: we will take the highest total test score in one sitting. Therefore, we will not combine the best portions of the test from different test dates.

So in plain english, what they're saying is:

I can tell them the tests I'm planning to take. If I'm good enough for their school without those score, they'll accept me. If I'm not good enough, they'll wait until they get my scores, then make the decision?

Interesting Interesting... hahah

Thank you LTW902.

Darn though... highest 1-sitting. If I score higher on M my second time, but my overall score goes down (shudder), can I ask them to consider the 2nd sitting only?
