So, we've all worked hard and now it's finally the end. After a long 17/18 years, it's finally over: the stress of college, grades, and test scores. Though graduate school will be here in a blink, the promotion between high school and college is definitely much greater. So, I thought I would give a last thought as I end high school.

High school sucked.

Last day: Yesterday
Graduation: May 21st (Friday!)

High school was awesome! I loved it. I think movies/book portray it poorly. I had so much fun. Why didn’t you like it? I mean, doing homework sucked, but just being in school with people that I grew up with wasn’t so bad.

My high school life has been definitely a roller coaster. There’s been a lot of high and low points. At times life sucked @$$ soooo much and times where I loved living life. As I head off to college, I will miss my underclassmen friends.

Graduation : June 2nd
Hum hum hum, my high school years in america wasn’t quite bad, and like Socal said - it certainly has ups and downs but in the end I always remember the good times.

But today was the first day that I felt sad and scared about graduating. It all happened while I was watching Forrest Gump. I was overwhelmed with a sudden bout of nostalgia and sadness. It was so random.

^^^Actually, it also hit me just a couple days ago that I’m really sad to be leaving. Up till then, I was so caught up with leaving my city and heading off to college…but now I’m sad about leaving some good friends(younger ones) behind.

I came, I learned stuff, I grew up, I will be leaving soon.

I’ve enjoyed my time and can not imagine having gone anywhere else. But It did it’s job to make me ready to move. Thus I am anxious to leave not because I disliked my experience but rather because I am my experience has in great part made me who I am today. And I feel confident that who I am today can make the step into adulthood.

^ Very few… I doubt many of the people on CC, a forum that is feckin’ dedicated to colleges and stuff, is not looking forward to finishing high school and going to college.
