jeeeez, some of you get out so early! i graduate june 12th. but maybe part of that has to do with our weird boston holidays, like Bunker Hill Day, and Evacuation Day (aka St. Patrick's Day).

Another SoCal... June 15th!

This Thursday!! I guess that's a lot better than a lot of you guys but my friend at UMich was already out TWO weeks ago! Yeah, they get off school on April... crazy stuff.

Tara doesn't graduate until June 17 here in Virginia. We only have ten days before she has to be at Annapolis. But my graduation was June 27; I guess we New Yorkers needed those extra days.

Beachmom, I'm in Virginia Beach too. Graduation is so late because they don't want to start school in August a.k.a. prime tourist season for all the teenagers working down at the strip.

Yeah New York is really wierd i guess....we start the first wednesday in september and get like a week and a half for winter....week in february...and a week in april....and all the others in between.....plus those damn snow days!!!

Wow everyone that keeps adding their graduation date keeps making me feel older and older. I graduate 6 June....

2001!!!!!!!!

Thats what I get for being almost 23. Ha where's my cane? Damn it I can't remember. Well its 4 its time for dinner. LOL See yall soon

APan5, I graduate the 21st.

And today, on my last day of school, I watched The New World... how fitting. It was wonderful, by the way. See it... mostly for the girls though.

Theory- I think Virginia Beach also has to allow for snow days; you knowthey close everything down on a forecast of snow!

Where in Va Bch are you?

Fergs, I hear your first equipment issue includes depends and polident. :)

Really? That's awesome. I was starting to run out of those. I wonder if they issue cathetor too? Hmm well find out. Would hate to loose bladder control in uniform. LOL

Hehehe. A girl in my bootcamp company did that during one of our parade (P)inspections. The CCs were so proud that she didn't break formation that they had her carry the P flag from then on. So approriate on so many levels!

oh so appropriate. HAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Beachmom- I go to PA for the IB Program. I'm zoned for F.C. though.

Theory- we live in the Cox district. My daughter decided against PA or Ocean Lakes because she wanted to have time to swim and do other extracurriculars. Congrats on hanging in with the IB program; that is a huge commitment!

Beachmom - Does your daughter by chance swim for TIDE?

She does! Who are you?

One of my best friends swims for TIDE and he mentioned a while ago one of his teamates getting an appointment. He too is interested in the Academy.

Small world!

It is pretty amazing. Are you a junior or a senior this year?

No you want small world. I swam for TIDE from 1991-1993. Thats how small of a world it is. That's back in the day yo's. My sister and I both swam for them back then. Now we are all grown up and definitely not swimmers anymore. That whole 6' 3" 230#'s doesn't make you go through the water too fast.
