last day to be in dorms winter break?

<p>does anyone know the last day we are allowed to be in the dorms before they close for winter break? im not sure if i have to leave the last day of finals (dec 17) or can leave later in the weekend.</p>

<p>If finals end on the 17th, then I believe you can stay in your room until noon on the 18th.</p>

<p>You can stay in your dorm until the day Residential Halls close for the year, which is usually the day after the last final, usually a Saturday around 1PM.
I think after that, they charge you like $39+ per hour (or maybe Half Hour, can’t remember) if you are still in the building.
So basically they make you leave (including the fact that most Dining Hall closes by Saturday Noon)
You can leave anytime before that if you wanted.</p>

<p>is there any way i can stay on campus during break?
i’m not an international student, but my parents are heading back to korea, so i’m kinda homeless in the us& don’t want to fly all the way back just to stay for a few weeks.</p>

<p>i think i’ve heard soewhere that internationals are allowed to stay durng winter break but i’m not sure if i fit into that category :/</p>

<p>You could do Winter Session and still stay on campus. I think they may have housing.

<p>They do let internationals stay during Winter Break, but all I can remember from that was that people who stayed in Holland International Living Center Dorm (Low Rise 8?) stayed there for the winter if they wanted to.</p>

I think they will let people who aren’t international students stay over the winter break, but you obviously will still have to pay :)</p>

yeah. after 17 years, they decided that they had enough, and hence decided to dump me in one of the nation’s most isolated campuses, and flee to their mother nation.
come to think of it, what is their korean addre…
