So, I'm taking the ACT on Saturday and I'm really nervous. I took it in September and got a 30. I've been reading Barron's ACT 36I took practice tests in the RED BOOK and scored 33s and 34s. I scores 32s on Princeton Review.
I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how to get a 34-36?

I’m with you Gidda. Currently holding a 31 Offical, and hoping for a 33+ on Saturday. I’ve been scoring as you have on all practice exams. Yet, it seems that when people like us get into the rhythm of only missing 1-2 on each section, it comes down to a statistical probability of unintentional error. Hope for a little luck, and we may see those scores yet!

Prepare for the worst. I scored as you did and got a 32. I didn’t finish a single section except English. Anyway, be confident and male sure you don’t over prepare. Do NOT be nervous during the test because that often leads to re-reading passages or math questions unnecessarily. This is crucial too, being that the ACT is a timed test. Like I said, be confident, but be prepared for anything.

@macve004: exactly! math and science are my worst and i feel like because of that i’ll get really nervous and do even worse than usual on them
@AndyTon: thank you! i remember i had panicked during my september ACT and ended up rereading a few science questions and passages. now i know where i went wrong haha. thanks!
