last minute college?

<p>i am kind of considering applying to wisconsin-madison for no particular reason at all, but just to kind of have a backup. but i live in georgia, so does it make sense for me to just blindly apply there? is it a good enough school for me to apply?</p>

<p>how bad is it that i had an 87 in math 1st sem of junior year, the next it was 106?
and an 88 in ap bio turned 94? thats an upward trend right?? and those are the only b's i have:/?</p>

<p>UW-Madison is a very good school. But as an OOS applicant, it’s likely to be very expensive for you.</p>

<p>As a Georgian, you might find the weather in Madison to be - shall we say “challenging?”</p>

<p>I think the main question you should ask yourself is: if I am accepted there (and odds are in your favor that you will be) can my parents afford the costs associated with attending this OOS college?</p>
