Last minute Dilemmas! Please help!

Hey guys let me start off by giving my gpa and stats.

CCSF
UCLA(TAP), UCB,UCSD,UCI,UCSB
3.55
E.C. Self employed 20+ hours a week + work for a jewelery company, volunteer work, some clubs
Lower Income

So I began at CCSF with the intention to major in econ at UCB or UCLA. Realized it wasn't for me and went towards the communications/media studies/sociology/psychology route. lol. I have pre-reqs for Psych/sociology programs at UCI, UCSB, UCR and the Anthro requirement complete for all UCs.

As the application deadline is slowly creeping up, I realized I want to go more and more to UCB or UCLA. I'm not sure what major besides Anthro would interest and I know communications haven't accepted anyone under a 3.8 in the past few years- so i'm out of luck there. What are my chances at UCLA for the Anthro and what should i put as my alternative major?

For UCB, I have the media studies and american studies pre-reqs completed but I was told with my GPA I should apply to a less competitive major in the humanities of L&S like rhetoric. As rhetoric has no pre-reqs I think I might do that and try to switch to American Studies once I get in. Also, if you have over 70 units and apply to media studies you have to write a 5 page paper and go through a different selection process so I dont know if I want to risk not getting into UCB.

What do you guys think I should do in the situation I'm in right now??
Also, if anyone has some free time to help with essay revisions please PM me!
