im applying to NYU and I really need some input. As of now, NYU remains my top choice but i'm unclear as to which school I want to apply to. I plan on concentrating on US History, yet I am also a very talented vocalist who decided not to pursue vocal performance (even though I was encouraged to do so by all my teachers). I planned on applying to Gallatin, so I could dabble in music while still concentrating on US History, my true academic passion. However, recently I have been second guessing myself and wondering if I should just apply to CAS. I'm unclear on how Gallatin works exactly, and I feel like I'd be safer applying to CAS. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Gallatin may be your best option to combine or pursue all your interests. You could call the office at Gallatin and someone will be glad to answer your questions and give you some guidance. Whatever you do, be sure you apply to the school within NYU that you really want because you can't change once you are accepted.

well internal transferring into CAS isnt too hard
