So, I am taking the SAT this Saturday. I also have not had much time to study for it, (I've had a complete straight month of testing - literally.) and I was wondering whether I would be better off memorizing a bunch of vocab or working on CR strategies, as I feel the reading section is going to be my worst out of the three.

To those preparing for it/already have taken it, what would you say is the best thing to do?

I haven’t taken the SAT for many years. However, I do teach it.

Don’t spend time memorizing a bunch of vocabulary words. Given the choices you’ve put forth, I’d prefer that you focus on reading IF you aren’t just doing a bunch of practice tests.

Practice tests can’t hurt, but there are more effective ways to raise your score.

At this point, I would focus on CR strategies. If you’re worried about the vocabulary, study roots, prefixes, and suffixes, which could help you figure out the meaning of the words enough to answer the questions. Practice Tests are definitely a way to boost your grade but I don’t think you have time for that…
