I know at this point, my decision is already settled, but I’m getting extremely nervous as the UCs are unpredictable each year.
UC GPA: 3.79
SAT: 1500 (790 Math, 710 english)
800 SAT 2 math and 750 Sat 2 physics
Computer Engineering
So far I’ve gotten into SJSU, CPP, ASU, and waitlisted from Urbana-Champaign
Essays and ECs centered around major.
Thanks in advance!
Do you have an explanation for a lower than average GPA in comparison to your SAT? UC’s tend to be very GPA focused especially UCD for Engineering majors. It will not be an easy admit but only admissions will can tell for sure your chances. Best of luck.
Some UCD admit data below:
2018 Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.40-3.79 capped weighted and not major specific:

2018 Data:
25th - 75th percentiles for SAT:
UCD: 1220-1480
I have provided an explanation, specifically that I went to high school in a different country for a several months then moved back to California for the remainder of freshman year/beginning of sophomore year. It ended up being difficult due to the fact the curriculum was less challenging in the other country.
