LAST MINUTE-- which U.Penn college to Apply to?

I do ultimately want to major in business, and I know that Wharton is the right school for that, but with Wharton's incredibly competitive admissions statistics, I was thinking that I would really be just as happy majoring in something in the college (communications, gender studies, mathematics, etc.) and maybe minoring in Wharton.
Anyways, U Penn is definitely a reach for me, but can you help me decide which college to apply to?
I'm a female, and someone told me that females have a better chance of getting into Wharton than males do
Also, as far as SAT 2's go, i took Math 2, which is what Wharton recommends, and i have not taken a foreign language (what the college recommends)
With these factors involved, which should i still apply to the college? At this point, I honestly want to have the highest possible chance of getting into U. Penn

Wharton’s admission rate is 8% CAS is 10%. 2% difference, big whoop!

there are no wharton minors. apply to wharton if you want business. RD is a crapshoot at both CAS and Wharton anyway.

^^^
RD is a crapshoot at any of the Penn Colleges. Apply and buy a lottery ticket. Double (increase) your chances of getting lucky.

How do you guys know admit rates for individual schools?

huh, i thought CAS was >10%.

I’m in the same situation. I know with the one university policy I can still take courses at Wharton, except some management classes, but I mean if it’s really just 2%, Wharton all the way lol. (The choice for me is either Wharton business or CAS econ).

I’d go for CAS econ

I would say that if you are truly content with going to either school, then apply to the one that your application best fits for a higher chance of getting in. If your application, meaning all your essays, activities, accomplishments, and recommendation letters can indicate that you’re interested in business, then I’d apply to Wharton. If they express interest in something else, then I’d choose the college.
