Is October the last date for the SAT if you're applying ED or EA? Or is it cutting it too close and I'll just have to stick to the score I have now?

yes, oct is the last day for EA/ED, and the second part depends on what's ur previous scores and what schools u r applying to. U can always pay and send it express if it will increase ur chances of getting in.Heck i would. But if u already score above 2250 or won't increase a lot (100) from the pervious one, then by all means stop wasting ur time and starting working on ur essay, some ppl don't realize this but they're the most important part of the application. (more important than ur SATs!!!!!!)

If you call the college and ask them if them if you could take the november SATs and send them a rushed score report, would they accept it. Not all colleges would. I know this works for ED for some colleges, not sure about EA though. Rushed score reports cost 26 bucks if you are curious and they take 2 business days to make it to the college that you chose to send it to.

^actually, i'm pretty sure that novmeber SATs won't work since the deadline for most EA/ED is november 1st...

how are you so sure?

^ um...ok..i thought i explained it clearly, but let me repeat. NOVEMBER 1ST is the deadline of most major colleges for EA/ED, which means even if the Nov. SAT lands on NOVEMBER 1ST, a rush report can't save it if it hasn't even been graded.

I think you can take the NOV SAT for certain EA and ED school (caltech off the top of my head)

..ok..besides caltech, but notice the word MOST i had in my post...:)

MIT - NOV
Uchicago - OCT

how about Princeton ED?

call them?
