for starters, i'm hispanic, i've got good recs, go to a private catholic school in CA, have good essays that talk about how i have had to deal with hardships like my grandmother being incredibly ill and abscence of a parent;

i have a 3.45UW, 3.56 W, have taken 3/5 possible honors courses almost every semester (except for frosh year).

Here are the places i'm looking at:

Wake Forest
U of Florida
and finally, Boston College

haha AY8888, that week from what i remember was incredibly hectic. i don't remember what exactly happened b/c it was 2 years ago, but i think i was just so overwhelmed with school stuff/etc.
but i think i could've pulled out a 4. a regret of mine i'm afraid

u think UT is high reach with 33 ACT? I dont think so. I think u got a good shot at al those places, again GPA a little low but still i think ulll be fine.

If it helps at all, I'm also from CA and applied to UW-Madison (first choice). I got postponed and am waiting a final decision.

UW GPA: 3.33, W GPA: 3.85
SAT: 2030 (M: 680, W: 680, R: 670)
SAT II US History: 740
SAT II Lit: 580

I also applied to Washington. If I had to guess I think I'll get into Washington and rejected from Wisconsin. But just the fact that I got postponed with worse stats than you and worse EC's has to be a good sign for someone with your resume.

Hey you have almost the same stats as me! I'm hispanic too but I kinda have the opposite of you: lower test scores and higher GPA. I think you have a great chance at USC and probably UCLA even though UCLA is more statistics driven than USC. Boston College is a good shot too. I don't really know about the rest but if they are about the same as those three, you have a great shot. Good Luck!
