What is the last date of the ACT that UA will accept? We just got September scores and it still wasn’t enough for Presidential. DS already qualifies for the 2/3 tuition plus the remaining 1/3 from engineering. Trying to decide if it is worth one more try.
Thanks!

You definitely should have your S try.

“The scholarship priority date is December 15 (the application should be submitted online by December 15 and any required materials sent by mail should be postmarked no later than December 15). This means that the national December ACT and national December SAT results are the last college entrance examination results accepted for students who wish to be considered for scholarships.”

Looks like your S can take the Oct. 26 ACT and the Dec. 14 ACT.

And the Nov. 2 SAT and the Dec. 7 SAT.

Thank you!

You are welcome!

If your S gets a 32 on the ACT or the 1400 on the SAT, he will get the Presidential scholarship. That way if he changes his mind about engineering or computer science he will still have 100% of the tuition covered.

Roll Tide!

Totally agree, have your son retest, this will leave his options open if he decides to not major in engineering.
