<p>You SAT's are strong enough, don't retake unless you know your scores will boost by over 50 points. You have a high chance to get into any college you want in the US. But keep in mind that top notch colleges sometimes involves sheer luck. I know a person who once was rejected by Duke and Dartmouth, but was then accepted to WashU, Yale, Rice, and Princeton. SO you fit the bill at Stanford, but luck will be the ultimate fate, same thing with HYP.</p>
<p>I'm afraid that indybur1 is overestimating your chances at some very selective schools, and it's not because your stats aren't appropriate for theses schools, but because so many of the kids who apply to these schools have similar stats (many have better), and because these schools are so selective. Here's an example of what I mean. Your stats are just about average for some one applying to UPenn. An average applicant to Penn has about a 20% chance of acceptance. Consequently, you have about a 20% chance of acceptance.</p>
