Last week revision for the Biology E/M?

Endosymbiotic theory; basically that the organelles of the cell (mitochondria, chloroplast, etc) were once individual organisms (bacteria) before they joined together in one cell.

anyone wanna summarize the important points / products of each of the steps of photosynthesis and cellular respiration?

also do you think we need to know most of the hormones and their corresponding glands?

Photosynthesis :
C02 + Water –> Glucose + 02
STages of Photosynthesis :
A.Light dependnt reaction B.Calvin Cycle ,Carbon Fixation (Dark reaction)

  • occur in Thylakoid - occur in Stroma
    -Reactant —> Product -Reactant —> Product
    H20 ----> 02(in atmosphere ) CO2+Rubisco –> G6P then divide on
  • ATP + NDPH (Uses in dark reaction) G3P Then Glucose

Cellulare Respiration :
O2 +Glucose –> C02 + H2O+ATP
types of Cellulare Respiration : (A.aerobic Respiration B,anaerobic respiration)
Stages of Cellular respiration :
A.Glycolysis
-occur in Cytoplasm
-takes place in aerobic + anaerobic respiration
-Glucose —> 2pyruvic acid + 2ATP
-Pyruvic acid in absence of 0xygen :
pyruvic acid –> A.Lactic `acid (if in Muscles and Bacteria )
B. ethyl alcohol +C02 (if in YEast)
Pyruvic acid in presence of 0xygen
2. Krebs cycle :
-occur in Mitochondrial Matrix

  • pyruvic acid +COA –> Acetyl COA +4CO2 +2ATP+NADH +FADH2
    3.Electron Transport Chain
  • Occur in Cristae of Mitochondria
  • NADH +FADH+02 ===> H2O +32ATP
    Total aerobic respiration : 36ATP
    Total anaerobic respiration : 2ATP
    Total cellulare respiration in human : 38 ATP

I hope understand me and another Question ?
