Last Week to Decide HELP!

I have been asking this question on these forums for a little while now, but I have never received a clear answer.

So I live in Texas a go a to a high school that has a block schedule. I am currently ranked 44/716 which is top 6%. My goal is to go to UT Austin, Baylor, Rice, etc.

Anyways currently I am taking, in my opinion, the most challenging class in high school- SPANISH 4 AP! I currently have a 78 in the class which is probably 10 points lower than my next lowest grade. I talked to my counselor and she informed that I can drop out at the end of the 9 weeks (half semester). I don't exactly want to make colleges think I am a quitter but I also don't want to kill my GPA. The 78 won't disappear from my transcript but my GPA won't drop significantly if I drop out at the end of the 9 weeks. What do you guys recommend I should do?

If you absolutely positively don’t think you can bring it up to a B by whenever, drop it. But I think you can do it. Spanish is easy. Very easy. Worddd
What exactly is so troubling for you in Spanish class? When is the end of the 9 weeks? Are you a senior?

^I’m a sophomore. And Spanish 4 AP is hard!!!

You didn’t really answer the other questions, but OK
