Last year (or the year before), where'd your school's valedictorian go?

yale for fall of 07 upenn fall of 08

Duke, Penn, Wesleyan

Yale for the past two years.

07- Brown
08-Chicago

'06- MIT
'07- UConn (full ride)
'08- Val: Yale, Sal: Yale

Harvard (10 char)

val (s): Harvard, Dartmouth

University of Miami
Most people in our school (with the exception of athletes) don't go out of state for college.

07- two val, both went to Harvard
08- val went to Stanford, sal went to MIT, 3rd - Vanderbilt, the 4th one went to Harvard, the 8th one went to Princeton. lol. While the 6th, 7th one did not go to anywhere significant

'08- 3 Vals (WashU, Brown, Tennessee Tech) I have no idea what the Tennessee Tech person was thinking but I guess the school is literally paying her to go there...
3 Sals (Colgate, University of Tennessee-Knoxville, Univ. of Missouri)
Also had people go to Rice, Boston College, Emory, 2 to Vanderbilt, 2 to Duke; I also think that the Val going to WashU was accepted to Stanford but considering that he had a big scholarship offer with WashU...And there was one kid accepted to Harvard (he wasn't even close to being val or sal) but that was mainly because of an athletic recruitment and connections from his family. He ultimately ended up being one of the two people sent to Duke on an athletic scholarship.
-07- 2 Vals (Notre Dame, U. of Kentucky)
1 Sal (Boston College or Boston University...can't remember)
'06- Val- Notre Dame (it's a Catholic high school with a bunch of kids whose parents went to ND...it's like a right of passage to get accepted/attend there)

I believe I still have the School Newspaper Article of where everyone went..

I know kids within the top ten got into - Dartmouth, Columbia, Michigan (Engineering), Upenn. I believe one turned down an ivy for a full medical scholarship to either upenn or somewhere in PA.

The #1 one seed in my grade already has dibs on Harvard, last I checked.

What do you mean "dibs on Harvard"?

He either landed an interview, or they were looking into him - Or something. I'm not too sure. Not really friends with the kid.

I remember taking pride in correcting his mistake once, however. He wrote "Exempted" on the board. In the context, it was meant to be "Exempt". Haha.

Williams

10char

We had 14 valedictorians two years ago.

Some notable ones went to Yale, Princeton, Caltech, UPenn(pretty consistent every year), Gtown, Emory.
