Late AP Testing

I have heard rumors that the late testing on AP tests are supposed to be harder then the normal test. Is this true?
I have to take the AP Chemistry on the 20th so this really would affect me.

I will not be silenced, but really anyone know if the late testing are harder?

I'm taking AP English on the 18th... and yeah I heard the same thing... supposedly to discourage people from ditching tests and getting more time to study. meh, whatever.

That's so ****ed up(to put it bluntly). But I had to reschedule because of two tests at the same time (environmental science & chemistry)......

I have took chemistry last week and i have to see it was easier then what i had expected hopefully i made a 4 or a 5..GOOD LUCK!!!

How'd did you take the chem test last week if the test isn't 'til Tuesday...

Is there anyone who has taken a late test, what test and how'd you do?

i am taking a late US history test for i have a state competition last week.....i heard nothing about the rumours say..sori

i'm in the same situation as you are deltaG -- ap chem and ap env sci -- i'm taking ap env sci later. i don't htink i could afford a hard ap chem test

Yea, I have the same Env Sci/Chem conflict. I'm also taking Env Sci late, but that's because ... it'll be lots of cramming, whereas I just took SAT II Chem and I just have to work on descriptive and FRQ now ...

Im late testing for Bio for i have a conflict with music theory, although i dont know why those would be scheduled during the same time... Anyway, i have heard it was harder too. I have also heard that the test itself isnt harder, but the curve is more evil because its a different curve with fewer people taking it, so there are less people to totally bomb, lol. But um yeah, late testing sucks. I know this sounds crazy, but I think they should do testing on the weekends, and three a day to prevent stupid overlaps. SUre, it means you may be taking an AP at 5:00 PM on a saturday night, but still...

I took a late test in World History last year, and I got a 5. Stop worrying- the late test is no harder than the regular one.

I'm with you Beware0fNerd the college board should have arranged for the tests so there wouldn't be a conflict, its not fair to punish the students for their lack of foresight....

Hm. I personally don't see the late tests as a punishment. I think my head would explode if I took three three-hour exams in one day.

Three 3-hour exams... maybe a little brutal, but what are the chances of you taking three exams that are scheduled for the same day? Anyway, colege board cant schedule. They should have an SAT in the summer when there are no other conflicts and studying/preparing is so much easier, not in the middle of APs or right before the time when most schools have finals. Evil college board. They just want to see us stress...
