late application fees?

How do colleges feel about this?

Anyway, I completely forgot to give my letters of fee waivers to my counselor, and we're now official out on break.

The thing is, a lot of my applications are due on January 1st.

So, my line of thought was: should I send in my own letter requesting the fee to be waived, including my counselor's name and phone number and email, and with my dad's name, phone, email now?

And then, later, obviously after the deadline, could I send in the official letter requesting my fees to be waived?

Or... would this mean my apps get the automatic best-friend title with the rubbish bin?

Bumpity bump...

You're probably ok. Go ahead and send the letters. I don't think the fee is going to get you rejected. I know several people that got accepted to their dream schools even though they left out the fee, or the third page of the ap or......don't worry. Admissions people understand that we're only human.
