So I sent out my applications at night on October 30 and common dated it as October 31. So they were all sent out October 31 and I received all the confirmation emails. Now I am applying to Northeastern early action which has a deadline of November 1. So some of my colleges said they got the common app on the 31st. However, when I went to Northeastern's application status check they said they received it on November 2nd. Does this mean that I am no longer considered for early action? or does the school just look to see when the common app sent date was. I've been trying to figure out if this is considered late or if it just takes time for them to process the common app. Thanks.

Don’t worry, your application was not late. The common app’s time stamp does sometimes indicate submission a date or even two after you believe you actually submitted, but this won’t preclude you from being considered a timely applicant for the early action decisions.
