<p>I am a current student (freshman) at Cal Poly Pomona. I decided to switch majors into Nursing and I'd like to apply to UC Irvine but I have already missed the deadline for it. I already applied to CSUF's Nursing.</p>
<p>I recently saw on UCOP that UCI Nursing is still accepting applications. I know I would need to complete a UC application as well as the UCI Nursing application, but would I need to also send in a APPEALS letter to let them know that I am applying late? </p>
<p>If I am to submit an appeals letter, my only valid reason would be because of financial difficulties lately in my family as well as family problems such as death of a parent. Though this was over 8 months ago, my family is still suffering. Would this be a valid reason to appeal for applying late?</p>
<p>Also, if I go through with the UC application, I have written up a personal statement. I was wondering if anyone can edit/proofread it for me and give me advice?</p>
