Late Cal Grant GPA Verification

I was recently accepted to a UC from a private, OOS university. I was under the impression that I wouldn’t be able to receive the Cal Grant since I currently don’t attend school in California but I just learned that I was wrong when I received my unofficial award letter (am still considered a California resident). The problem is, I didn’t submit my GPA Verification Form. I am guessing this isn’t grounds for a late submission, so am I out of all the FinAid I was projected to receive for next year, or is there I chance I get at least some of that money through a school grant? Thank you!

I’m in the same boat, let me know if you learn anything!

Call the California aid commission and ask if you can appeal for a late GPA submission.

I think the September deadline only applies to CA community college transfers.

If you would miss out on a big Cal grant maybe you can work for a year and then transfer next year, and this time not miss the March deadline.
