If I do the class registration late, do I end up w/ bad or not so good professors?
And as a freshmen, how can you compare professors if you go to orientation?
I assume when you are a sophomore/junior/senior, you can compare them by looking at the websites but for the freshmen, do we even have time to do that?
can you easily change your professor in the first week or is it really limited and the chance is slim?

I don't mind not taking the popular courses.. but the professor aspect worries me....
because i'm not going to be able to attend the cas orientaiton during june/july..

relax. you don’t really have a choice, but there are HUNDREDS of students who don’t attend the june/july registration. freshmen don’t really compare the professors anyway, they just take what classes sound interesting. it’s your first semester. it’s going to be okay. yes, you might end up with some boring old guy, but you might also end up with a really good professor.

you have a small window in which you can change classes, but you don’t really change them much because most of the “good” classes are closed by the fall.

and if you get a professor you don’t like for your first semester. . . you control the next seven semesters after that.
