<p>Yesterday when I tried to submit my college applications, the common app froze up and wouldn't let me. By the time it finally started working, it was already 5 minutes after the deadline. so my application to nyu was a couple minutes late. </p>
<p>Do you think they will still consider my application or will they just toss it? I emailed them about my dilemma, and they haven't responded. Please give me advice! Im freaking out!</p>
<p>Be patient, and give them a chance to get through all of their email today. If you haven’t heard back by Friday, pick up the phone and call them.</p>

<p>I got an email back from my nyu admissions counselor. I’m kind of confused though…she said the jan 1 deadline is the deadline for the common app and supplement. So it seemed like they wouldnt accept it. But then later on in the email she said they expect supporting materials to process in a couple days or weeks. And then she also said as long as I submitted my application successfullly and got an email confirmation from commonapp.org then they would review my application. But the thing is I didn’t submit it successfully because it was late? I’m so confused if that means its okay or not…</p>
