<p>I submitted NYU application by Common App yesterday at 11:30, but I did not know that it was ETS time. I've sent email to Common App, but I don't know what will happen.</p>

i submitted nyu 5 minutes after 9:00 pacific time, or midnight eastern. i didnt know it was supposed to be before midnight eastern

<p>I would say: don’t sweat it. Like many people have posted, colleges (most, at least) are understanding - as long as they get your app sometime soon after, I think you’re all fine!</p>
<p>I read somewhere on the NYU site that if you’re application is late by a day or more they will still take it, but it will be looked at last if there are still open spots. That said, you were only late by hours, so they probably won’t care. I doubt that when the admissions staff returns after January 4th, they will be checking what hour you sent your application in at</p>
