Late IDOC Application

Hey, I applied to both Duke and Northwestern and both of them require me to turn in the IDOC application. Admittedly, I should have done some more research into this before but I was pretty clueless, and now I've learned that the due date is March 1st and we have still yet to turn it in. Hopefully, my dad will turn it in by tomorrow, but even that might not happen and it'll still be pretty late if he does.

So, my question is, should I call the college or just hope that they won't care. Can somebody in my situation or somebody else who knows the process please help me out, thx alot

I called Financial Aid and they said there is an early due date so students receive an aid package by the time April acceptance letters are sent out. So if you can't turn in your IDOC forms right away, it's no sweat; you just won't get an aid package until later.

I have yet to turn in that stuff too - a lot of other people [on the NU Early Decision facebook group] still have to turn it in too, so no worries, you're not alone!

I didn't even recieve IDOC instructions until March 1. How I'm supposed to get it to them before I even know how, I don't know.

Yeah I just sent off my IDOC stuff 2 days ago because I didn't get my instructions until March 1 and didn't know anything really about it. Don't worry too much about it, just get it in and hope for the best. Your financial aid might just come in a little late.

yeah, i just got this email late last week and it freaked me out because i didnt even know about it. so if it isnt in yet will it hurt my aid package or what?

this relieves me so much, seeing this thread.

Yeah, my dad just sent it in today, so hopefully it'll go well. I was really freaked out when I first saw this, just kept on thinking that I just screwed up my financial aid. Thx for the input, nice knowing that I'm not alone

You are definitely not alone. Mine was submitted late as well.
