For next semester, I transfer applied to University of Michigan (U-Mich), Virginia Tech (VT), and University of Virginia (UVA) on Feb 1, Feb 15, and Mar 1 respectively with 1 LOR.

Very recently, I realized that I can get another LOR which I'm positive it will offer a completely different perspective of me than the other one and be really beneficial for my apps (if they don't leave a bad impression for being late). This is because of something that happened around mid-Feb between me and my professor. Obviously, I realize this is super late so should I even ask my professor to write me one early next week (he is out to town this week) without jeopardizing any of my apps? I sincerely think it could be a glowing one-of-a-kind recommendation.

If I should ask him, should I send it to just UVA or all 3 colleges (since it won't be as late for UVA)? Also, what would be the best way to ask him to write the LOR as quickly as possibly without being rude? Obviously I can't have him spend a month on it now

I'm not sure about U-Mich or VT, but I know UVA considers transfers after all freshman applicants, which may buy me some time. Btw, as far as I know, I don't think there is a strict limit to how many LORs I can send to those colleges. Also, I don't think they even require them in the first place. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.
