Late Recommendation

I asked my Math teacher to write a recommendation for me about 3 weeks ago. Probably a bit late but he had already written recommendations for other colleges that don't use the Common App for me, so I figured he could just reuse those. He still hasn't submitted it his Common App Recommendation though. I've been texting him throughout the winter break (perhaps to the point of a being a nuisance) to see when he can get it done. He kept assuring me it would be done the day I texted him, but he still hasn't submitted it yet.

Worst Case Scenario: If he doesn't submit it by December 31st midnight (or is it midnight Jan. 1st?), am I screwed for colleges with that deadline?

From what I understand, they’re pretty lenient with recommendation letters. As long as you have him assigned before the deadline, you should be fine. He can submit his letter later

Generally, schools allow an extra 2-3 business days for receipt of materials other than your app. That’s not true everywhere, but for the most part if he uploads the rec by Monday next week you should be fine.
